TURBOdesign Suite Pumps & Hydraulic Turbines Workshop
TURBOdesign Suite Pumps & Hydraulic Turbines Workshop
Central London – 21-22 September 2009
Advanced Design Technology, a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods, is delighted to announce a two day hands-on workshop to improve the design and analysis of pumps and hydraulic turbines.
In a classroom environment ADT design engineers will demonstrate how our unique 3D Inverse Design method can be applied to generate and evaluate a number of alternative geometries to initial designs, therefore enabling the swift progression of the design process.
Following the workshop, participants will be able to take away a FREE 45 day fully supported evaluation license of TURBOdesign Suite. Ensuring the continuation and completion of the design cycle and code evaluation after the workshop.
The course will provide detailed hands on experience on two important modules of TURBOdesign Suite, TURBOdesign-1 and TURBOcfd. TURBOdesign-1 is a general 3D inverse design code applicable to all types of turbomachinery. TURBOcfd is an accurate and computationally fast CFD solver developed specifically for turbomachinery applications.
ADT’s highly experienced design engineers will be on hand for training in the design and analysis of specific blades. Expert guidelines will be provided on improving efficiency and cavitation performance.
This unique workshop will be taking place on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd September 2009 at the Radisson Grafton Hotel in Central London.
What Industries Can Benefit?
All pumps and hydraulic turbines manufacturers who would like to reduce their design cycles while obtaining innovative design with improved performance levels.
Who Should Attend?
Pump and hydraulic turbine design engineers who would like to explore a wider area of the design space. Participants will gain a far better understanding of how cavitation behaviour and efficiency can be controlled and evaluated during the design stage while benefiting from individual support from ADT design engineers
Registration and Fee
Included in the fee for this two day workshop are all your beverages, lunch and a workshop dinner and the fully supported 45-day trial license of TURBOdesign Suite.
