Leading and Trailing Edge Modifications
TURBOdesign-1 allows the user to modify the leading and trailing shapes with different elliptic distributions. It also allows the user to specify different forms of underfiling or overfiling either at the leading edge for cavitation control in inducers or at the trailing edge for better performance in pumps and compressors.
Geometry Data Export
The geometry computed by TURBOdesign-1 can be immediately ported to most CAD, CFD and FEA codes. Examples of available general export data formats include IGES, STL, VRML. In addition program specific data export is available for all main CFD codes such as Fluent (G/Turbo), CFX-TURBOgrid, CFX-Bladegen (.rtzt), STARCD(es-turbo).
